Eid-Ul-Fitr message by the SRCC and Head of ATMIS, Ambassador El-Amine Souef
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the government and the good people of Somalia for diligently observing the Holy month of Ramadan in peace and solidarity.
The successes of the Somali Security Forces against Al-Shabaab terrorists is a testimony of the increasing capabilities of the national forces to take over security responsibilities once ATMIS leaves on 31st December 2024. I, therefore, reaffirm our commitment to continue supporting the Somali National Army in the noble military offensives.
As we mark the end of the Holy month of self-sacrifice, I wish the Somali ummah a happy and prosperous Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrations and the best in their endeavours.
