Mogadishu: The Special Representative of the African Union Commission Chairperson (SRCC) for Somalia, and Head of ATMIS, Ambassador Mohamed El-Amine Souef, wishes the people of Somalia and Muslims around the world a happy Eid-al-Adhaa.
Today, we commemorate the profound act of brotherhood and solidarity among all Muslims. Additionally, the day marks the climax of Hajj or Pilgrimage to Makkah, the fifth pillar of Islam and the most significant manifestation of Islamic faith and unity in the world.
We pray for Allah’s blessings, peace, security, and stability in Somalia.
May the wonderful spirit of this day unite us and cement our resolve to forge ahead as one united Somalia.
